I am on the hunt for a 1974 bug (the year that I was born) inpreferably white in good condition to use as a daily driver to save Km's on the cabrio. I have hunted high and low and they are either one of two things, too expensive or in really poor condition. I was talking to someone at work today and mentioned that I was into VW's and guess what they told me? that their dad had a 1974 bug in white which he bought from brand new. His dad died 25 years ago and the car had been garaged ever since. His mum has since died, so he decided to sell the house and dad's car. He sold the bug (which I believe was in mint condition) for $1000 and guess when he sold it???? SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why can't I be lucky ???????? Just once ??????????

Trace you were lucky on sunday, when you scored those bling wheels, lucky as at the end of the day a fella wanted to buy them, hi was gutted when i said they were sold.

i thought the beetle (oval) was the year you were born 1957, i may be mistaken hey!
