Beetle engine in kombi

Hi, is it possible to run a 1300 beetle engine with a 12 volt flywheel in a 2lt gearbox?
Tinware would be changed to kombi tin.
Does the rear engine mount really matter?
Would this be ok for a short period ie under 1000Ks?

Unless you change the bellhousing on the 2L gearbox it wont work
