I have a single 2L 3/4 head which has a hairline crack extending a little way from the valve... dunno if it is any use to you, but i thought it my be worthwhile mentioning it anyway 🙂... I've heard that heads can be welded, but not sure of the finer details. Also I have a feeling that the valves may be different sizes.

Anyway though, do some homework and act accordingly..

😀 Cheers

I've got one 1800 head, bought by mistake (I thought it was a 1700). It was sold to me as "good used". It looks OK, no cracks that I can see. It may have a stud or two missing (I needed a couple for my 1700 heads).
I can email pics if you want.

IIRC 1800 bore is 93 mm and 2000 is 94 mm
