to Nat Gohl on getting his awesome Manx on the cover of Hot VW's.
Is that 3 or 4 international mags it's been in now?
Most people seem normal, till you get to know them.
Congrats Nat!
wasnt / isnt this for sale a little while back??
Futue te ipsum!!!
yeah, unfortunately it's sold.:cry
well, fortunately for the new owner.

And the pic on the front cover is from the photo library that VWMA commissioned Scott Pearson to do when Nat's car was featured in Issue#5 back in 2005. In fact, it's one of the very same images VWMA used in the feature spread. Was Scott given the credit?

I was just thinking about this, if the photograher was from VMA , doesnt that mean that they own the copyright of the pictures.
Or is it the owner of the vehicle, I always thought it was the person who takes the picture?/
What happens here, can anyone use them ??
Fred
Technically, for feature cars in VWMA, I and the photographer share copyright. We can both use the photos for our own purposes, and in my case, I acknowledge the photographer each time I do so. We can both re-sell/give permission to other publications to use them if we choose, and the standard practice is for that publication to acknowledge the source. In Hot Vw's case, they should be crediting Scott, unless some other photographer took the pics in the exact same location with the same weather and tide conditions and had Nat dress in the same clothes?!
