This is mainly aimed at the companies out their. I am trying to find prices on a bunch of rubbers and accessories for both my Kombi and Beetle and so far after all the emails i have sentto the many companies i have only heard back from Volkspower. I realise that people are busy but surely business is business and an order in around the $500 + is worth chasing up.
Has anyone else experienced this lack of enthusiasm from vw shops in terms of service. If there is a company out there that can help with rubbers and other bits i would love to hear from you

Send an email to George at Classic Vee Dub. He has been extremely helpful with me, and always answers my many emails. I have been speaking to him for a while as i will also be needing rubbers and accessories soon.

The website is:

I know what you mean

Recieved a reply email yesterday from a VW repairer/spare parts place to an email I sent in early December.

I got the " Sorry for the delay ........."

But the best one I have had is a bussiness ( not VW related ) email me back saying "give us a phone call on ..........."

I emailed them back saying "NO" :P:P

Mick Motors have been super prompt whenever I've asked them 50 questions... and George from Classic Vee-Dub is just awesome! I email him almost every week with some query or other.... hahaha :thumb
