Daisy the 82 Van has been doing some miles lately

Up to the Central Coast numerous times over Christmas and down to Mallacoota for holiday, and always pulling a load - 5-8 people + dog + LOTS of stuff.

Anyway - she began farting and popping a bit the other day and i just dont have any time these days.

Off to Lou A1 at Regents Park for a once over.

Point is, he gave my 010 auto box a seal change and a good filter clean.

Could never get 3rd gear before.
Thought i needed a rebuild. Been driving it this way for 3 years.

Anyway - right as rain now. Changes beautifully. No rebuild now. :bounce:bounce:bounce

On top of that some new struts on the hatch (no broom stick now :bounce:bounce) some new front pads, a tweak of some valves , a new diaphram in one of the carbs and unblock the accelerator squirter and THIS VAN ROCKS!!

Hmm... feel like a trip comong on!!

Gotta love the feeling after 'refreshing' an old friend 🙂

My bug has been off the road 2 and a half weeks with broken clutch cable, and I am starting to miss driving it..... My only excuse for it taking so long to do the cable is my 2 and a half week old son Bryson 🙂

yep

new ones take a bit of time

Sad to say (in a nice way} - but at this time the dub takes 3rd place

The missus and young one comes first - plenty of times for dubs later on.
Just think how sweet it will be when you fire it up!
