Hi all

Does anyone know what is needed to attach a type 1 engine to a type 3 gearbox?

Thank You

Just the usual, it's the same as a Beetle box

The engine/gearbox mount is the same but you might need to know that to fit a T3 box in a T1, you must knock out the 'blanks' in the Type 3 bellhousing and the shift rod has its locating hole on the underside, rather than the top... so no, it's not the same. But similar...
