I WANT ONE!!!!!!!
Matt.
I think its a 1960's Meeussen, they were a Belgian Coachbuilding firm that built Type 1 Wagons & Panel Vans.

G'day,

If you look at the body it is a late sixties beetle, high slightly curved windscreen, angled quarter vents, slotted wheels, etc, although it has early bonnet and gaurds and bumper.

My guess is that it is a slip-on fibreglass creation, done to look like an early one.

Much easier to marry a Type 3 back onto a Beetle front, on a Beetle pan with a Type 3 motor, you would be suprised how easy it all fits together.

Cheers, Ian.

Yeah, I like that one better than the grey one, at least it uses VW panels, the back on the grey one looks like the back of an early Puegot wagon.
Cheers

You were correct Ian I just looked up the article in Volksworld mag its a 1960's era car my mistake (edited post).

Not sure if it's a real Meeussen or a replica ?

For reference info is from Volksworld dated January 2004 pg 46 under title Lost & Found.
