I am selling a pair of race seats that I purchased for my beetle one year ago. They are brand spanking new and never been in a car let alone seen the light of day!
I have since decided to keep the original matching interior. These seats are awesome and very comfy! They come with runners and we also had brackets made up for them in steel so they could bolt straight into our 1968 Beetle. These would make an excellent additional to your VW! 🙂 I purchased the seats for around $750.

Lobus I will post a pic of the tracks and the brackets we had made up. If Kombi runners are the same as Beetle ones I don't think there would be a prob with fitting them.

Beetle tracks are completely different to Kombi, I'm sure that they could be made to fit a kombi, but not with the beetle tracks.

Ok so these are the authentica runners (tracks) that I bought specially for the seats. I know that they definately fit in a bug, Kevin could show you how to put them on the original beetle runners, along with the additional brackets we had made up.
Otherwise! Does anyone have a brother/sister/mother/father/niece/nephew/uncle/aunty or distant relative that may use these for there own car :P Even if it isnt as awesome as a Volkwagen 😀

These seats were able to fit in my 1968 Beetle using the runner kits we bought with the seats and the adapter extention brackets we had made so they would fit. We're not sure if they would fit in a type 3? Maybe with some modification but we have to have a look. You are welcome to come and have see them and bring the type 3. Kev could have a look and see if they could fit. What do you think?
I'm in Canberra but I suppose they coudl be sent via a transport company of something.
I presume that they are suitable for a two door car ie they are folding seats. Can you confirm?

They are folding seats as I bought them for my bug. If you where willing to organise transport and costs I am sure a transport company would do it. 🙂
AND someone called me Friday about the seats and left a message on my voice mail! When I started listening to it my credit ran out and my stupid phone must have deleted the message 🙁 I know the person was from avd as they said, so if it's you please call back!

And looker I bought these from Autopro and they are Authentica. Even if they do have the 'same ones' from AutoBarn and Repco $265 x 2 is $530 for the pair + on top of that you need to add rails and modification brackets for your VW.
Mine have the rails with them and ALSO I had made up two steel brackets that cost us $90
