Hey avders, how u all doing?
Got a mate who is restoring a pretty 68' swing axle, ball joint bug.
Would glass off a 67 K&L swing axle fit on his?
Would glass off a superbug (strut front end) fit on his?
Any help would be appreciated.

You'll also notice the front 1/4 windows on the early bugs are vertical, whereas the later ones are angled back

On a flat screen super 71 or 72, all the glass will fit but the rear window in 72 went bigger.

yeah, am only interested in windscreens here.
Screen on the supa one he has is flat. Not sure what yr. But my 67' glass is flat too. :S

Yeah, they're all (Exept L's) are flat to an extent, but the surface area changed through the years.

I don't actually know the size difference because I only own Supers, someone else will be able to help properly.

There are no early 6Volt beetle windscreens or glass interchangable with any later 12V beetle glass.
Superbeetle 1302 model glass will fit a 1500 beetle and vice versa. I have done it.
well its pretty much been said but october 57 to late 67 have the same screen and all 68 on are the same except Lbugs
its the same pretty much with back windows 10/57 to late 67, 68 to late 71 and 72 on
