Well guys, I bought this Powermac a while ago to get bits out of to upgrade mine...well, I got bored, had a brain fart one day, and bought a heap of parts and fixed it... in short, I now have 2 Powermacs, and I only need one... and its taking up space where kombi paraphernalia could be going... so I shall advertise it here for sale! 🙂

It's a blue and white Powermac G3 450mhz, with 128Mb of RAM, a 10GB hard disk,16Mb ATi graphics card, a CD-ROM drive, 2 USB ports and 2 Firewire (IEE 1394) ports, sound in and out, 4 PCI slots, and it is running with OSX 10.2 Jaguar, and has a few items of useful software on it that I cant be botheed mentioning. 😂... oh and it got a keyboard and rodent with it, but no monitor. It a pretty smooth looking and running machine... as mentioned, I still use one in preference to my Pentium 4 PC...

and it can take some monster upgrades too... 1.1Ghz CPU, 1Gb of RAM, 3 120Gb HDD's, DVD burner etc.... most of which can be had very very cheap on ebay, and will run Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger almost as it is.

Anywho, enough pro-Mac propaganda... I'm lookin at a pathetic teeny $160 for it... cos thats about how much my brain fart cost me in buying parts. 😂

If you can't be botheres with a full description what does that say about the computer?
Do you know much would a monitor for it cost?

hey twokombis its a tower not s laptop and is almost complete by the sounds of it. the monitor depends on what you want you could get a crt monitor for a couple of hundred or go a lcd for about 500

As for the monitor... well, I bought my nice Philips 17" flatscreen CRT online from a store chain down in Melbourne called Infinity Computer Group for $160 brand new in about 2004... might be cheaper now... and a damn fine monitor it is by the way! 👍

Hhehe.. and as for the full description.. weell, I thought it covered everything... but if there is anything else you wanna know, give us a u2u or ask here. It'd be more a matter of what it says about me than the computer... and that is that i'm bone lazy... 😂

I thought ( for a mac user 😉 ) he did quite well in expressing what was for sale.

for good price comparison/hunting, try www.staticice.com.au and type in what your after. Or you could try www.MSY.com.au they have pretty much most of east coast covered and are pretty bloody good price wise.

I live in Nowra td... about...hmmm... 1hr south of Wollongong, and yep, it's got ethernet. 👍

And adam, as mentioned, I'm about an hour soutth of Wollongong... not sure where Bargo is exactly but I assume around Woll oongong way?

And yep... I can ship it... prob around 20-30 bucks give or take... 🙂

hehe...and I think theres a prob with u2u's then, cos I havent recieved any from you as yet mate. 🙁... fancy that... the u2u system giving stick to a mod...how discourteous! :vader 😂

Yeh. it is giving me dramas, i cant send them .... first time ive tried in ages since the updates. I am loving in wollongong and will come for a drive one day soon and pick it up. im assuming a pc monitor will work on this or do i need a mac montior?
