We are thinking of going to USA later this year for a holiday and I would like to if the timing is right to catch some of the VW events over there . So can anyone tell me when and where these are held ?

The Pomona Swap Meet at Fairplex in California huge. It will take you all day to see it. It is on about every 2 months or so.

If you are into buggies, check with the Manx Dune Buggy Club on www.manxclub.com for any of their events. You could Laugh at Laughlin, Squeeze at Borego or even go to dune buggy heaven at Glamis. Don't expect to see the Thane of Cawdore there.

Hello from Las Cruces, New Mexico. There is a great show on each year in mid August called the Great Canadian Bug In which s held in Coquitlam, Vancouver. I would recommend it to anyone as it is the best one that I have ever seen. Been there a couple of times. The organisers say it is the biggest in North America. volma1

They are still there, just have faith you'll find one.

I was in US in november last year and missed everything!!!!😠
Caught the San Francisco Auto show and a great museum in Vegas that had a couple of awesome dubs, including a '64 with 700 original miles!!!😉
Can't complain, the place is awesome if you're a car head of any description.

The VW Classic is in June and is meant to be the biggest, lots of cars get debuted there. I'd love to go not only for the show, but also the other events surrounding it like the pre show DKP cruise at Nicks Burgers on the Thursday night, and the open houses at VW shops which I think is on the Saturday. Some awesome stuff around there, really really want to go one year, just waiting for my numbers come up on lotto. 😢

Pomona is awesome. The VW section of the swap is the size of one of our large swaps in Sydney, not to mention hundreds of VW,s forsale aswell.

im going at the end of may for bugarama in sacromento then pomona the next weekend, and staying for dkp cruz night, octo show the vw classic etc. the second weekend in june

Went to the display at the Imperial Casino in Vegas and surprise there are now 4 bugs there. volma1
