Hi guys,
About 9 months ago or so I bought an IRS pan for a Karmann Ghia. I paid $1500 for it and also drove to Adelaide (from Melbourne) to collect so all up it owes me closer to 2 grand.
However I need to get rid of it and am open to reasonable offers.
The details are:
- US import pan with import papers (imported by Mario (aka 'karmannghiaseller' in Adelaide)
- Very Good condition - a couple of small rust holes in left hand pan (when I say small I mean really small..not worth welding in my opinion) . I was going to strip pan and repaint in POR15 or rustbullet which would more than likely fill the holes I mentioned.
- Pan comes with front beam (no disk brakes though), rear trailng arms still connected to pan, IRB box and shafts, and 4 standard wheels with tyres
So, if anyone is rebuilding a KG and needs a good, solid floorpan (with IRS the bonus) this setup is just what you need.
If any Sydney buyers are interested I could be able to help with delivery in the next couple of weeks.
