has anyone else got the pop-up about the "type the number in the box" Security Confirmation.
I asked ebay about it but got a genneric email back and I cant Forward it to the spoof address as its not an email.

I haven't been looking on ebay for a while,
and they have upped the security a lot...

I get emails asking for your info, but I just pass them on to ebay...

You have to step very carefully on ebay, as anyone You contact , such as ask the seller a question:
If the seller doesn't like the question...
He can advise ebay that You did all sorts of things...
and Ebay can suspend Your account very quickly....

Someone was selling goods under My ebay name,
about 20 items of electronic goods & computers....
I even received emails from people saying they had sent their money to Me.....

My Ebay Account was suspended, until I worked it out with ebay... they do have a live chat room type of communication now.... So, Now I'm OK again...
[in ebays eyes that is....]

but I'm stepping carefully.....
Both My Sons have had suspension problems with ebay...
and it all comes down to who You are dealing with....
They have the power....
to stop Your ebay a/c....

One of My Sons sent the item He sold to a person in Melbourne by Courier to a Post Office Box number...
Now You cannot send anything by Courier to a PO Number..
as they have no access to the Post Office.. so the parcel came back... My Son then sent it again, by Post to the PO number but the buyer complained and My Son is now suspended......

ok, got an email from C.S Ebay..it is a new spoof email so don't type the number in if it pops up when readind emails(real ones) from ebay.

I had it pop up on me when I asked a question of a seller from the my ebay page. I assumed it was an anti spam measure and filled it in.

Its happend to me twice now i just typed the number in it let me send the emails throught i think its safe .
