just got laid up insurance for my project its not exspensive when you start accumilating all the parts for your project and add the cost up and time spent on the car.
Sad thing I had to retire my 74 bug but got a low K Seat Ibiza 3 door coupe for 2500 thou with road worthy .
does it cover you against rust?
And ive got 4 cars insured...slowly changing over to GIO, exactly the same deal as shannons...
in what way is GIO better

My Beetle is insured with the NRMA Classic car Insurance
I get to keep the car if its a writeoff....
wasn't all that expensive.... [over 50's get cheap insurance]

shannons only cost me 75 for laid up been using them for 15 years never had a problem:thumb
A candy coloured clown they called the sandman tip toes through my room every night just to sprinkle stardust on my pillow go to sleep everything will be allright
