Try and be nice please - if you can\'t, at least avoid personal attacks.

Just to pre-empt the big questions - "who deleted the thread?" - it was me. Why you ask - well we are not asking everyone to agree with everyone - that will never happen. However personal attacks and insults will not be tolerated, so threads will continue to be suspended if people can't keep their personal issues out it. Before typing, just take a moment to think, "if I wasn't behind this keyboard, how would I resolve/approach this situation in the real world?". Would you really say 'this or that' if you were face to face with that individual - sometimes yes....but often no - stop hiding behind the computer and act like you would in person. Here are a few pertinent points people made in the suspended thread; Schmoburger wrote:...the very idea of this forum is to bring like-minded VW people together as a friendly group...not to create a veritable abbotoire. The kind of crap that is started by certain members of this forum is inexcusable... why should members of our own fraternity be cutting there own brothers and sisters throats??? It is seriously shooting holes in he friendly atmosphere that this community aims to create. So, all involved parties (and you know who you are)... grow up...and if you are unable to see a particular member in a positive light... don't even acknowledge the fact they exist... much more pleasant for everyone that way!
