I have no idea how many Okrasa kits were sold here, but if you ever find one, latch on to it. I've never seen one. They are rare and very valuable.

C'mon kids gather round,
there's a new sensation hitting town,
It's moving straight, low to the ground,
it'll pick you up when your feeling down.

I bought a '60 Beetle in '69 that had an Okrasa fitted 36hp 1200, but didn't realise they were also available for 40hp, 1300 and 1500.
My 36 was bored to 1260cc, had a Porche 356 grind on the cam, Okrasa twinport heads, twin carbs, 010 mechanical dissy and Lukey sports muffler.
Was quite quick and fast for its' day.
