I have a fuel injection system fitted to a 2276cc engine but I want to go with 48's. The system is basically new as it was fitted to the engine and only dyno'd. I have no idea about it at all, but can send any photos or let you know what is written on the parts. It is a micrtech system with 48 plemium chamber Hope thats right. Anyone have an idea what its worth or interested in a swap for 48IDA's or maybe heads to suit Turbo as these are over 11:0 compression , not shown in the photos is all the wiring, microtech board etc.

Are you selling the kit complete? injectors, fuel rails, fuel pump, ecu, sensors, etc?

Yeah the lot (but not the engine) I'll photograph all the other bits layed out and post them, it may help explain whats included. But it was a complete running system being tested before installation into a porsche spyder replica, but the owner went a smaller engine and added a turbo to the same system as this.

I have to ask this...why on earth would you change this system to something like frikken carbs??????????? Which were once actually modern in the '70's............

This engine is not for street use, it was designed and built in the USA to run under12's with carbs, but when it arrived here the then owner decided fuel injection was better. With injection I dont beleive it would acheive anywhere near its potential. My ideal setup would be to replace the heads for CB performance CNC round ports and add a GT30R Turbo, but I'll go with the 48's initially untill I save the $

i got a pair of 36dells with manifolds, its not what your looking for but it might be a start. i would be willing to part swap the manifolds plus some cash for this setup. i can sell the dells somewhere else. unless you want them to sell or swap. either way i would much rather this setup than twin dells.

What about dual webber 40s then... and cash. At this rate you'll get 48s anyway. People can smell a deal methinks.

haha they certainly can. 36 dells are the same as 40 webers anyway so its an even deal haha. but you got in first right at the start. well im intersted anyway, so if everyone else with dibs before me don't come through ill probably still be up for it.

Yes injection is better, but 48's will flow way more air than that manifold could ever,
unless there is boost.
Buy yourself another 48mm throttle body that is the same, and some nice fitting manifolds.
That way you will be happy with the performance, and keep all the carby haters happy.

Finally some one talks sense , of course the dual carbs would flo way better than the pictured manifold.:thumb
they look like kadron alloy single throat manifolds 40mm !!
