this is not VW realated but an interesting link.

click there ->R1 and Landcruiser Burning

It just reminded me that cars burn well, and VW's are no exception.

I would hate for my Kombi to have a similar fate. :cry

Ok off to double check my fuel lines.

how wicked are those cop car rims :P

if anyone has seen the manaros the highway patrol has, u could honestly say they are spoiling themselves with our tax payer's money.

... at least with the front of the cop car intact he could still reach into the car grab the radio and call in another accident :P

Did anyone see the news report from I think Bulgaria where they are wanting into the EEC? It showed a cop car - a Porsche convertible!!!!! It seems they confiscated it from a criminal then used it themselves all painted up a a kosher cops car. That would really piss the crims off😁

Anyone who buys a monaro has too much money. Why pay all that extra money just so two of your commodore doors get welded up???? stupid idea.

I think the italians have some lambo's doing highway patrol work too. I doubt the cops would pay retail. They probably only pay the cost of materials and labour plus a small profit. Other than engine/gearbox the actual cost of building a lambo wouldnt be much more than a commodore. It would be the development costs and the badge that make it so expensive.

Wonder what a front cut of a 26K old SS costs.

ummmm yeah actually the lambo would be significantly more expensive - they are carbon fibre hand made after all.... takes many more manhours to build
