Johnny Cash covering nine inch nails' Hurt
written by Trent Reznor about his heroin addiction.
I saw this a while ago about 4 am on Rage and was just in awe of the song, and of Johnny. Saw it just now and thought I would share.

Nice
good cover. Have never been a big Cash fan, but good cover.
'Ah, whatever................'
Also done months before he died. He so owns that song now. I used to dig NIN but it's just so much more genuine the way he's done it... no hint of whingy emos. hehehe
Yeah i saw that a little while ago, Schmoburger passed it on to me!
Everytime i watch it i cry, very emotional. Listening to the words and knowing that was done only months before he died makes it more meaningful!
Its beautiful...

I saw it a few months ago... Im trying to think of a way to pretend to be manly so i can deny that it's the best cover i've ever seen, and that i was sitting there in tears while watching it. 🙁
Now don't get me wrong... i love Nine Inch Nails... but Johnny Cash took something that was a good song, but nothing outstanding, and turned it into something truly amazing 😵💫

The gentle close of the piano at the end says it all hey
