Ultimately I would like to put a price tag of $5 but I think there would be a few more zeros after it in the real world.

Put up a pic and open it to offers. Let the market determine it.

I got a pan a while back for $80. In good condition. And for some reason you can hardly give oval window motors away.

Malcolm,
seriously depends on condition. Rusted... almost nothing regardless of the gearbox forks and tunnel condition. If you post a pic or two you may get a more realistic response than $0.00. I have an oval shell being worked on and no amount of money would make me buy an oval pan and motor, but there are buyers out there.
When was the motor last run? whats its condition? original parts? etc etc.

god knows when the motor was last started ,the mods I,m doing I didn,t think it was worth cutting up the pan so if anyone needs parts its there .I also have spare irs arms and a pair of 944 torsion bars .
