Good service is pretty rare these days, so thanks is in order.
I called in to Classic VW at Rydalmere on Thursday.
Not long before closing time and they had 3 pallets of new stuff out in the drive to put away.
George, took the time to answer all my questions, talked me out of stuff I didn't need, offered to take back anything that didn't suit, even gave me a catalogue and a couple of old mags. Plenty of good advise. A refreshing change from most places.

And while were at it- don't ever complain about vw part prices- I cant believe how cheap this stuff is- example; $110 bucks for a good new dizzy ! in my world that wouldn't get you a crappy second hand one! $70 bucks for a shifter- just a shifter gasket and bush kit for most 4wd's is nearly that much.

Here's my usual money pit;

Great little Susi, love those things. Your right, VWs are cheap to build and maintain compared to 4x4s.
Cheers.
