what welder do i need

im also fixing up the body of my superbug.ive been told that mig is the easiest to use for a learner.people have told me i need from a160 to 200 amps others have said a100 to a130 would do.gas or gasless?what do you guys recommend?

Your choice at the end of the day. It is not just the welder that does the job, you have to have skill, patience, experience and/ or varying combinations of all three. Go here for more info.

Myself personally have a 150Amp MIG using gas. I personally would only use gasless for building garden gates. If I was to buy a new one I would get a 170Amp. That is only my opinion and feeling based on my panel experience.
