Name: Brad
Location : Brisbane
Item: I have some early beetle panels for sale. They are off an old show car and are very good condition. They are original and not cheap aftermarket stuff.

1 x Set of early Guards - $300
1 x rear deck lid from a convertible, this is what I have been told. It is an early boot lid with vents in it. I do not know 100% - $150

I will post pictures shortly. These are all silver grey in colour and ready to bolt straight on. Prices matches the condition. I have some cheaper ones as well. But they are under the beetle bust up add

I will go second in line in interest after VWFOOL for the convertible decklid pending pics. If it is a 60s lid with vents and the water ducting inside that would be super sweet. Cheers Brad.

That is the bug alright but the body has gone onto a Aero Guarded WRX Powered Beetle ....

There is no ducting inside the rear deck lid.

Yes the lights are slopped not upright.

Pics to follow

Hi Matt, are you making anything for the front or just the rears?

Here are the pics. Sold as is without number plate light. Handle has no key.

So there is no confussion VW Fool has first option followed by Das followed by 66. VW Fool has 24 hrs to respond with payment or the option passes on. That should be simple enough so people don't get their nose out of joint.

Cheers,

Early+turbo twists+aeros+autometer everything+EJ20T, now an old recipe but I still a tasty treat. I to embaresed to mention just how long ago this started but I blame the delay on the wife/child/dogs/job etc... I need someone with a similar project to spur me on to completion.

i remember reading about that car many years ago in a vw scene mag
pretty sure the vents were grafted in from the front grille off a bay
it was supposed to look like the decklid off a 50s vert
like so
