weirdest oil leak in a VW

first I saw a BIG oil patch on the driveway, fresh oil too. I let my brother in law and wifes freind know to check their cars. Theirs were fine...too far up the driveway for the kombi though?????

Then I saw this

Hmmm? OK who moved my motor to the the front of the kombi???

NO no motor there???

ahh OK its coming from the....the umm.. floor?

Yes ...yes it is

OHH put the lid ON the bottle...i get it now... my floor pan wont be rusting in a hurry ...

my first beetle used to leave an oil patch under the front
had me baffled till i found out some clever cookie had put what i swear is motor oil in the steering box:duh
