My buggy pan(70) currently has a 70 ball joint front end with discs...I want a link pin front end but want to retain the disc brakes. I'm about to add the centre adjusters
Will a link pin front fit my floor pan ? Will the brakes bolt up???
(reason for the question; I have some big shock towers that fit a link pin front and want to use them plus I'm hearing the link pin front is better offroad)
It's all getting very confusing.

From memory they aren't interchangeable (Brakes)... different stub axles etc... Best way to check is to take a look at the bare stubs I guess.

No and No. Beams are different as are the brakes. Unless you are really hard core off road, the ball joint beam would be OK,or you could change your framehead and get your disc brakes modified to suit link pin and all required machinery inspections etc...😁

the bonus of link pin is the extra travel available.

hte stock balljoint is actually stonger than linkpin due to its stronger stub axles.

if u want linkpin u will have to change the framehead on your pan.
