so we have recently moved house and this house has a pool and i hadnt been for a swim yet so today i thought it would b a bright idea to go for a swim...
whoa was i wrong. it was about 2.30 wen i jumped in and i stayed in for a record of 2seconds. it was absoluetly freezing!!! :bounce
i thought it might b abit cold so i put on a wetsuit but that didnt do ne thing!! our pool isnt heated either and isnt in the sunlight. gee i wonder y i didnt take that into account wen i thought bout swimming.

so who else has been for a swim laterly??
and was it cold??

Been surfing on the sunshine coast today and still in shorts no worries.
Somethings going on up here,global warming is happening even all the fish species have changed habits and breeding times,other northern fish have moved in and some moved out in the past 10 years.

my head did get wet, i did the run and jump into the pool.
still amazingly cold tho

Yeah ocean is still good but our pool is freezing - haven't been in for about a month and a half! Brrr..

Surfing in a wetsuit these days, mainly because im surfing at 6ish in the morning, but swim no worries, the water is about the same temp now as it is in November, maybe warmer...

I agree with frogstar, it was 27 here on saturday and 25 on sunday, great weekend...and great winter swell, but the crowds are getting larger...

Went for a swim in the damn at a property we camped at a few days ago.

Ever been ice-skating and when u fall down and the ice burns u?

It felt like that only a liquid all around you!!!

Was a top weekend alright.
Bruce, was your swell from the NE?
Sure was breaking in different places up here....was a welcome change.
WE still have August to go and that usually has some bitter westerlies in it to cool things off.
