i fixed it up now. i filled the bath with hot water...and sat the thing in there a bit to warm in up to 26degC
then i took it out and wrapped it in two towels.
i wake to hear the sound of it bubbling away :P (and it's kept it's heat too...so it should be fine!)

yeh i think my putting it in the bath with hot water did the trick.
it's been at 25-26degC all night, and through-out the day of it's own accord.
so i think it should be right now.
i'll consider that for future brews tho 😉

In regards to sterisation, I do all mine in the bathtub. Easiest place to do it.
I am doing a ginger beer brew in a few days. I have enough bottles to have two batches going.

What sort of ginger beer Helbus?
That is my next one and I have not done one before. I have two worts and about 6 crates of tallie crown seals so can keep up with most determined boozing sessions.
My current fav. is a black ale I brewed with the full malt from the brewshop fridge, dark and creamy just beaut for this cold Brissy winter!

You add no sugar to make it a soft drink, or add sugar up to 1 kg for up to 5% alcohol.

or add a little over 1kg for higher alcoholic content :P
