I have picked up a set of gas KYB 'silver' and a set of KYB 'black' (exterior colour) dampers for Beetle rear. Does anyone know the difference in rate/stiiffness etc?

When I picked mine up from Vintage, Im sure silver was hardest (stiffest) then black, then white. The KYB's in my fasty are the silvers and you know what they are like!

How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn? 😂 UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.

Yeah, the silvers are good - but these blacks feel even stiffer when subjected to the 'squash on the driveway' test...?

i'm almost certain the silver/grey are the "softest" or least firm might be a better description
they are still to firm, or the valving dosn't suit ...they still jarr on sharp bumps like the earlier versions they produced.
