I was hanging with her earlier, i regret doing htis, but i was drunk, and i heard guitar, and was some hippy song, so came from tent, and starting randomly singing with them, and the lady was singing too, then said bye, then went in tent again, and over heard her, told her to shut up, then she started swearing out loud.

This post really sadens me, I always tell my freinds that VW people are different, all I can say is that they must not true VW people.
This post should be rehased before each VW show so that these low lifes can be caught and shamed.
Apart from some items, the cost of these missing bits is peanuts, what are these scum thinking?
I saw something really scary during the street parade, a feral got into to her feral Kombi and just let the door swing in the breeze, just missing that really nice orange 1500 Beetle.

Shit!!!.....thats my car. I was worried about parking next to that Kombi. Glad there was enough clearance between the car and the door. Ive never parked it in a car park before for that very reason.
shit.....my car handles bumps & bruises ...even from disrepectful drivers and owners....i just add more pictures too her,,,,hehe
but yeah...i assumed people looked before opening any doors, but saw it happening once or twice. For my car its not a big problem...but some other incredibly beautiful cars , well the owners would have been pissed if it left a mark.
i was in my car at one point during the parade...drinking hot chocolate before we left..(the shop was right next to me...) btu at least i had my doors closed...the car beside mine was so immaculate, i'm grateful the person beside me, at least on this occassion, watched as she jumped in.

What is it with ppl who think that just because a car is at a car show that they can touch it and sit in it???? At one show I had saw some guy sitting in my cabrio trying to figure out how the roof mechanism worked !!!!!

I'm afraid it's gonna linger with me. I find this absolutely disgusting really, to consider that there's people in the scene that are gonna nick off others. You read about it from your Bugjam's and whatever, but with gypos and manky estate kids and God know's what else seeping in you'd be more vigilant. But in the middle of nowhere here?

but try to remember alot of general public / friends of friends come to the show and in and around the park all weekend
sucks for the ppl who had a d!ckhead pray on them sure

Not all VW people are honest upstanding citizens, just like the greater community.
With all the laughs, offers of beers/food/shelter etc.. over the weekend you would have to say the majority are a great bunch of people.
this is outstandingly disappointing to hear and for this thread to even exsist. That said, I always lock my car, even if I'm only going to leave it un attended for a couple of mins... coz i know nicking something off your front seat only takes 2 seconds..
I know most of the people at Valla were upstanding people, it's the small few that ruin it for everyone. Like a virus. Small, but a real biach when it takes hold...

im thinkin im probably glad i didnt go now ,would of been real nice to go look at everything get soaked with rain,then get back to my car with the wife and kids and bang some little a-----hole has broke in to my car and knocked something off,would of been a great weekend
the law now at least in Qld is: LOCK CAR, windows too

i think this thread is getting blown out of proportion its pilfering thats what it is
happens anywhere & everywhere, could of been local kids or others staying at the park
maybe even our kids but if its veedubbers then hey they are losers sitting there now reading

no car no stereo no wheels no cameras or anything of great value was taken or damaged by the sounds of it so thats a plus in my book.

Sounds like the majority had a great time with only the minority spoiling it.
Our unit was open most of the time and the drunken guys that came in at 3.30am left all their wallets, phones and keys out on the front table - I think it was something to do with G falling into the lagoon- wet pants also at front door.
