Mines on the blink, I've try resetting the 'reasoning' circuit but cant get the sensitivity level adjustment needed to get a logical response to any input I give it. Don't wannt replace the whole thing, is it possible to to reset or the logic and reasoning curcuits, the ones in mine seem to be running in parallel to all known reality.

That is normal dude, that is how they are from the factory.
Don't send it to the dealer for repairs, the fault is intermittent.
Give it a couple of days and you will forget the fault was there at all.
A simple nod of the head in agreeance is all it takes to get you through.
If the fault gets so bad that you think it needs replacing,
go to you mates house and ask him what he does
when his does this...it will make you feel better.

There was a show I believe., that a lad tried something....
Was it "chicken slap", no it was a "Turkey Slap." :duh

I don't know if this would work, however.., The offender on this show got into an awefull lot of trouble.!

Myself, I really don't see how slapping someone with a Turkey would help anything...!!!!!:P

Take her out for some shopping therapy,a cappachino and a movie...works for me.!

This I found is like pushing the correct sequenced numbers (LOST).! Just got to make sure you complete the sequence before all hell breaks loose😁

haha... ive always liked this one... another tech support question..

"Desperately seeking technical support!

I'm currently running the latest version of Girlfriend 5.0 and having some problems. I've been running the same version of DrinkingBuddies 1.0 for years as my primary application, and all the Girlfriend releases have always conflicted with it. I hear that DrinkingBuddies won't crash if you minimize Girlfriend with the sound off, but since I can't find the switch to turn it off, I just run them separately and it works OK.

Girlfriend also seems to have a problem coexisting with Golfware, often trying to abort my Golf program with some sort of timing incompatibility. I probably should have stayed with Girlfriend 1.0, but I thought I might see better performance with Girlfriend 2.0.

After months of conflicts, I consulted a friend who has experience with Girlfriend 2.0. He said I probably didn't have enough cache to run Girlfriend 2.0 and eventually it would require a Token Ring upgrade to run properly. He was right. As soon as I purged my cache, Girlfriend 2.0 uninstalled itself.

Shortly after that, I installed a Girlfriend 3.0 beta. All the bugs were supposed to be gone, but the first time I used it, it gave me a virus. After a hard drive clean up and thorough virus scan I very cautiously upgraded to Girlfriend 4.0. This time using a SCSI probe and virus protection. It worked OK for a while until I discovered Girlfriend 1.0 wasn't completely uninstalled!

I tried to run Girlfriend 1.0 again with Girlfriend 4.0 still installed, but Girlfriend 4.0 has an unadvertised feature that automatically senses the presence of Girlfriend 1.0 and communicates with it in some way, resulting in the immediate removal of both versions!

The version I have now works pretty well, but, like all versions, there are still some problems. The Girlfriend package is written in some obscure language that I can't understand, much less reprogram. And I've never liked how Girlfriend is totally 'object-oriented.'

A year ago, a friend upgraded his version to GirlfriendPlus 1.0, which is a Terminate-and-Stay resident version. He discovered GirlfriendPlus 1.0 expires within a year if you don't upgrade to Fiance9e 1.0. So he did. But soon after that, you have to upgrade to Wife 1.0, which he describes as a 'huge resource hog.' It has taken up all his space, so he can't load anything else. One of the primary reasons that he upgraded to Wife is because it came bundled with FreeSex 1.0. Well, it turns out that the resource allocation module of Wife 1.0 sometimes prohibits access to FreeSex (particularly the new Plug and Play items he wanted to try). On top of that, Wife 1.0 must be running on a well warmed-up system before he can do anything. And, although he did not ask for it, Wife 1.0 came with MotherInLaw 1.0, which has an automatic popup feature he can't turn off.

I told him to install Mistress 1.0, but he said that he heard that if you try to run it without first uninstalling Wife, that Wife 1.0 will delete MSMoney files before uninstalling itself. Then Mistress 1.0 won't install anyway, due to insufficient resources. If anybody out there is able to offer technical advice..."

Indeed, after much searching, and experiencing faulty units in the past, I was over the moon to find that this one had a NOS unit and worked well. I suspect recent upgrades to child.3.0 seems to have some incompatability with the original CSLU (common sense logic unit). This unit seemed to work fine when we upgraded from DINK to Child 1.0 and then Service Pack.

If I install Shopping XP, can I do a custom install and omit shoes and bling. My processor wont cope with those options and may cause a full system crash.

The specific logical error is ... I want sine-wave-generator 1 which cost approx $850.00. The last component needed on Bus Resto 3, which cost over 25k initially to build. Without sinewavegen1, I cant upgrade to wireless.

When I try to install it says.

"Your system detects you have too many resources running, try quitting 62 Beetle in order to free up system resources".

I know I have sufficient resources available to get sinwavegen1 without quitting, so can see why Im getting this logic error when all have been running for some time with no glitches.

damn, now I've got a system message 'you need to clean up the house by the time I get back from city to surf'...though that does explain why SundayBreakkie.exe failed to auto-run this morning as expected.

I am currently also having a spot of trouble with 3 periferal devices running Hyper24/7, who I cant force quit, though one looks like entering sleep mode.

I seem to have lost my administrator rights ay.

just had a message from the sys admin. Got only a short time to back-up the work done today on my bug. Due to the on-going logic error, I had not in fact got the morning off line, but was supposed to be backing up the lounge and de-fragging the kitchen and toilet. If I dont manage a full reboot before 3pm, theres when admin comes home it will be control alt delete for me...

Yes seagull I installed mother-in-law 2.0, but the uninstaller didn't work. It seems that the Logic unit in that one in very similar the the faulty one in mine. Same factory it seems. I called the original owner of mother-in-law 2.0, and guess what, it's an on-going design problem!, but as it gets older, there are work arounds, he mentioned Masons 1.2, FishingBoat (36ft) and ShedPottering XP. However, he did say I could try Merlot or Chardy Express, aparently that will dis-enguage the fauly Logic Unit and open up some ports that the Logic Firewall auto-closes.

Now press Contro+ALT+F5!

I've just sent mine off for a refurbishment tonight with MIL 2.0 and NAN 1.0. Hopefully the week away on the GHAN will bring her back with some new found vigour. However I still have K.I.D vers 10.8, 2.9 and 0.11 to operate in the meantime. Thankfully 50's F@IR upgrade for myself the following weekend should take care of my requirements.

sys admin returned, had another go at rebooting sinewavegenerator 1.0, as the kitchen and toilet defragging went well, so thought Id try to reboot the application, but got the blue screen of death, and then suggested I restart in safe mode or face loosing all my data.

Now Ive found out that I'm gonna need to buy more hardware for 62Bug to run, so after all this, seems that I might need press Cancel after all.

Im going back to a MAC.

you need to download a patch for that ... or maybe a crutch ... but of course if you've suffered an unexpected reboot you may need more than a band aid solution.
