Hi,
we are slowly restoring our recently purchased 74 L Bug. We are after various parts including
Front Seats -
Door panel inserts (the coloured bits, front and back - preferably cream or black)
Steering Wheel - does not have to be original type - just needs to fit
We are sure to find many, many more things which will need fixing as we go along, so if you have any spares let me know and I will check if we need to replace ours.

1974 L-bug... 'Basil'
VW's were made to be driven, not hidden.
Just be a little careful with the parts
74L bugs fell right on a cusp of parts.
Late 74 steering wheels had a smaller spline shaft then early. look the same except about 1-2mm different diameter
Seats can be the same as well.
Very late in 1974 came the 3 point seat bases.
These are difficult to find
Hopefully you just have the 2 T rails
The seats are easy to tell - steering wheel not so.
Do you know your vin number.
It "should" be 134XXXXXX
