HOW to roof chop

Hey all !!

Just after any information people have on choping the roof on a vw beetle, im looking for a new project seen as my rotor Baja is almost complete. i want a project that stands out so im thinking a roof chop would fit the job and by what i have seen obtainable.

I am thiinking a volks rod or maybe even a shoptop Baja
any info and pics would be much apprectiated cheers guys.

Just a question... Are you tall?
If so would it be wise to have a choptop Baja?
(With all the bouncing offroading has to offer).

try laying the front screen back and the rear light forward look at KCW or rodders journal forhow too,s.stoppa,s on thisforum looks good.
Or lower the front screen and wiper valance and have the wipers hidden and you will sitll have the same windscreen area .

no im not all that tall and my baja (and my new project) has 4 point harnesses to keep me down in the seat. Im not talking about a huge roof chop just a minor one to give the car a sleeker look. im mainly just after info as to what way to go cheers guys

Thudknuckle, you might want to check out a US site volksrods.com it deals with roof chops, different ways to do them.
