Just cut them down. If you dont dont want to do it im sure a engiering shop would do it for next to nothing.

Thanks mate
this is what i plan to do, I just thought it seemed crazy, these things are made for beetles, i thought they would be correct fit~thanks

You may have the wrong wheel nuts.
I've just fitted a set of Empi 5 Spokes to my '57, and the Empi wheel nuts and washer kit supplied fits perfectly.
i have empi 5's on my 57 beetle also and did not have any trouble with the wheel nut kit supplied.
the kit i have has 3 pieces to it..
a threaded stud which screws into the drum with an allen key wrench.
a washer
a chromed mag wheel nut which screws over the threaded stud to hold the wheel.
is this what you have or do you have one single bolt?
see.... air and water do mix 😉

Single Bolts~

guess that would be the problem... you should be able to cut them down to the length you want.

You may have the wrong wheel bolts make sure you have the correct taper or curve to fit the wheels that you have before you cut them down
There are several different types around depending on the wheels you fit
What wheels are you fitting to the car ???
Where did u get the bolts from ???
