My buggy is water cooled and subaru powered, but it used to aircooled when it was a beetle. I drive it as much as is practical. Usually about once a week but sometimes more. And if it's a nice day, off comes the roof and out I go. 👍

My last car before I went to college was an aircooled beetle that I drove 7 days a week. If I have to have a daily driver again, it will be a beetle or kombi. You can't beat em, even without the air con.

Usually I take the company Golf GTI to work, but the beetle goes out twice a week. Mrs Beelzebug left her MX5 at home and drove the beetle to work yesterday.

1 -2 days a week

I would drive it every day, but I have a company car (which I can use for personal use too), so why spend my money?

I would be quite happy driving ol' Ratty every day if the company car was to be 're-allocated' to someone else within the company that needed it more that I do (who wouldn't be that hard to find as I only work two 5 hours shifts a week!)

When (if 🙁 ) my Baja is finished the number of days a week I drive an aircooled vehicle will increase dramatically! 😀

I"ll use my beetle pretty much where ever I drive unless for some reason I want a bit more comfortable ride in a modern (albeit much less stylish) car. I usually take the oval for my G-Town transits with no qualms. Now that I aimed my headlights and can see further than 3 meters ahea of me, it's a pleasure!... until the 30 degree wether comes again...

One or the other- mainly the buggy- every day, year in,year out. Even when I have the opportunity of taking the wife or sons car I don't as I enjoy driving my dubs. When I used to have company cars I found them intensely boring, just doesn't feel right to me to have an engine up front, I mean it's not natural, not like god intended!!!!!
