Rose,
You saved a 1303 Beetle and let another beetle go to the crusher ??
:P:P:P
I was just reading where VW made the 1303 because of US regulations on cars..
but they were NOT accepted by the VW enthusiast...
as sales fell...
so they bought back the flat windscreen - flat dashboard -
torsion bar beetle... in 1976...
then in 1977 they needed the beetle production line for the Golf
and Passat...
so goodbye beetles... from Germany..
I believe the 1303s will be rare in years to come...

someone elses post had a beetle going to the crusher.
Anyway I think some young girly will like it they won't care that it is a 1303 all they care about is that it's a bug.lol
Hmmmmm...... maybe all those tough looking German Lookers with big motors are driven by girlies?? :P
You have done a fine job with that one Rose.
Love flipper blue.
Lee - it is only the Massey Ferguson drivers that didnt accept them :vader
