I GOT A donaldson/centrifugal air filter, what goes over the inlet?

Got the whole bit cylinder with the filter element inside etc, and rubbers inside. But the inlet is open to anything like rain, leaves, rocks etc...

ANyone know what goes over the top of it? or what could go over the top of it?

Anyone got any solutions?

hmmm... wait, none of those ones on egay are good for me, i got a 2'' 1/2 inlet. Will keep an eye out though!

there should be a little dome thing with the intake on the underside with little swirling fins to direct air in a circular motion to force particles to the outside of the dome.

if u cant find one u could get a standard aircleaner (one of those ones with the alloy top to stop rain getting in) and whack that on.

there's a place in Yatala that specialises in donaldson aircleaners and stuff that will be able to sell you exactly what you need.
