1600 tp mods need help

hey all
just wondering what the best mods for my stock 1600 tp would be have got all of these ideas going round in my head and not shore wat to do . wat do yous think would be the most benificial? wat mods do you think? wat should i do first? ive already got an exaust so i spose that is one(small) step closer.
any comments greatly appreciated.

there is a wealth of articles there

read those first, get an idea of what you want, have a stab at what you can afford, ask heaps of questions - then jump in the deep end! :P

just spent the last 2 hrs reading allof the info. wow i never thought there was so many factors to consider. i think that first i will get a nice set of heads and then get a big bore kit.
wat is the best size to go im running mine in a baja bug?
where should i bye these products from?
is there anything i should no before doing any of these mods?
wat were the first and best mods that you have done to your engine?

Headtorque 'n' tappets first, then do plugs and timing...

ive just put new dizzy cap, points, leads, plugs, coil.got a couple crome bits the other day. wat is headtorque.

any idea wat sort of heads and where i should bye them for my motor.should i get mine ported and that or bye a new set.
