looks okay so far, be nice if it had a flat 4, but probably new FSI turbo.

the new beetle is obviously a remake of the old, the new mini looks something like the old mini, but what the hell is that? Sure it has 4 wheels just like the old one, but what else?

Something that I have thought for a long while is that car manufacturers should bring back the old shape in a new car.
To market a new Polo or Jetta based VW with exactly the body shape of the original KG would, I am sure, be a big winner.
Imagine Holden re-issuing the EH Holden shape, or Ford doing it with the XY Falcon, with new mechanicals. I'm sure the order books would be full before production started.
