Hi all,

Any thoughts on where to get my bug lowered? -

I have a 2" narrow beam, leaves and steering arms all new that I what swapped over with the ones on the car.

Also what will this job cost approx. bearing in mind I already have a beam with adjusters on it? (also what the rear lowered a by a couple of splines).

Also are there any other parts I should have replaced at the same time?

I'm after some dropped spindals if anyone has a set for sale for link pin running drums on the front -I'd like to swap to dics but I've got a nice set of 14x5.5 fuchs waiting to be fitted and they don't give enough clearance for discs.

Right think thats covered it!! Thanks for any help!!

rear end you can do yourself its not that hard... front end try any VW mechanic as they will change over the beam no probs.
as for parts to change ask the mechanic at the time... they may even do an inspection for you to give you more of an idea of what to change.

see.... air and water do mix 😉

When you pop the spring plate off the tosion bar, make sure you dont remove the inner end of the bar from its spline. I always use heaps of crc on the outer spline, and a two jawbearing puller that i bought from kmart, to pull the plate off the spline. saves lots of f@#king around if the inner decides to come out.

Cool, hopefully I'll pay someone to get the front sorted out within the next two weeks and then I'll do the back... Really want it done for the Cranbourne show. Thanks again for the advice Josh..
