t4 oil cooler

Last night as I was getting the splitty ready for rego I bumped the fuse holder near the distributor. The fuse fell out and got sucked into the fan and made a funny poping sound like ware going down teh plug hole. today an oil leak occurued from the oilcooler. So I presume teh fuse got shattered into small bits and punctured teh oil cooler. What rotten luck. Anyway will this oil cooler do for the type 4 motor?
The kombi passed rego today so as soon as I sort out the oil leak I will rego it. It went really well on the highway.

Yep, thats the cooler your after, looks liek its got the flangey part on there aswell. Make sure you put some new seals where the cooler connects to the flange. congrats on the rego.

pretty sure u'll find thats a 5 row doghouse one for a twinport beetle

type 4 are 7 row and have no bracket, they bolt straight to the case

sorry to be the bearer of bad news
but yea thats def a doghouse beetle cooler
u'll need to find a 7 row type 4 style
it has no flange fitting and is alot wider
