Hi everyone, im just wondering what speakers people have used in there beetle kick panels, i know they cant be too deep.
If you have some photos to would be great.
Also if anyone has installed extra guages can you post some photos so i can get ideas, thinking of getting vintage look guages but i cant decide

I am about to install a pair of 8 inch subs into the kick panels. I am about to start moulding up the glass tommorow shall post some pics as it progresses. Should be interesting
i first had my old alpine 2 ways in the kick panels with 20mm spacers i made up
even running at 80wrms i still wasnt happy they may as well not even been there but i worked at a few car audio shops so i'm VERY picky about sound quality
i've now got splits in pods on the door panels and it sounds 100x better
what model beetle are u puttinng gauges into?

Joel this is all for a 68 1500 but im blanking all the dash and putting in new guages, but i would like to see photos of all different dashes if i could.

u can buy some fairly nice gauge panels to replace the speaker grilles
or if ur handy u can make up ur own
heres the crappy home made one in my 70 bug
it had a heap of gauges for the POS rotary it had as well as one of them wanky moster tachs on the dash above the wiper switch

i think i have found the guages i want but still would like to see more ideas.
