yep i purchased mine when i was there @ Wolfsburg.
Didnt get it back for around 15 weeks so dont worry if it takes ages.
(i rang them up every 5 weeks)
yeah thats how i did it via credit card, theyve already charged it too, pretty quick with the money thing...
I sent away for one for my 56 beetle , took three months to reply , unfortunatly they couldnt send certificate because they couldnt read the microfilm, at least i got money back.
so maybe thats why ppl find stuff missing off their certificates.. they couldnt read it....i just think its such a good thing to be able to get.. i love history, particularly when its about my beetle

That figure was updated only a month or so ago:o
hey just thought id let u all know how i went...
i actually received an email from germany telling me the micro film was too damaged to read.
They did tell me the date it was built the date it left the factory and that it was destined for Australia. They have refunded me coz they couldnt give me all the info...but i only wanted it to confirm the year model...so im happy
Well, my birth certificate arrived today and I have to say I am very dissapointed.
engine number: "is not available"
colour "is not mentioned" (was my main reason for ordering it)
Extras/ Options "cannot be identified" apart from red leatherette uphlostery.
I do now know that its a 114 RHD deluxe sedan, built 9/8/56 left factory 11/8/56 as a 30bhp 1.2liter and that its destination was Fidschi-Carpenter. Now what is that? sold to Mr Fidschi who was a carpenter by trade? And where was that aussie site with the M codes?
They sure did. One was for red leatherette interior, the other 2 were unknown. I think the numbers were 009 and 400
Well... I just found out that Fidschi is German for Fiji. So my floorpan was born in Germany, migrated to Fiji, and now resides in Australia.
Is there nobody who can tell me what M400 and M009 are?

Here's the link to the M options... unfortunately, M009 and M400 aren't listed
🙁
