I need a 'from above' drawing preferably of a Beetle to use for my GPS software. Can anyone help me out? Any good artists or someone who has taken a shot of their Beetle from above?

That's a rare shot.
Your best bet might be to buy a model and paint & photograph it; that way you can get the colours, lighting etc. to your preference.
If you search Google using:
"plan view" vw beetle
you'll find a couple of CAD drawings, but they're subscription sites.

I tried a Beetle that I had in AutoCAD but it came out looking pretty bad. So, seeing as I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment block, I'm just going to take an above shot from my balcony 😀
Will post the results, should be some rare shots as you said!
