none of my photos were real exciting but just for laughs i shot these couple of vids on the way up altho stupid photobucket had killed the audio and screwed up the video quality
sorry bout the jitteryness its a hard to drive one handed over the speed limit and hold a camera steady LOL
that and my car is too low and has about 1/2" travel left in the suspension so shes a bit firm
just ignore my wreckless driving.....

Good day , met some good people. I was good to get the old girl out for the first time for all to see.
bring on the next get together.😀
thanks for the pics guys...
its really great that VW owners can still find something different to do to their cars....
and the work they do.....
I thought just restoring a fairly standard beetle was enough....
Keep up the good work....

Was my first time at a meeting-met some great people and hope to catch up with you again. Loved the silver Karmann Ghia with the red leather seats-very classy. The Kombi engine conversion from Bert Wright was impressive. All in all-a great day. Can't wait till mine is ready-spray job is complete-back to Gold Coast Vee-Dub tomorrow.
