it took 4 kombis to make that one. it's registered as being beige on a 65 plate. Theres an engineers plate on the details. I think it'a about 1.4m longer than stardard. Compliance meant that there are 'levels' of modification/safety.
Kimms currently building another one, this time using a 62 Double Door, 58 front and has already cut in some rear corner windows. Romour is he'll be chopping in a couple of samba roof sections.
Should be a similar size, but with a sunroof. Should be running a Type4 2.0 litre motor. Think he's planning on painting it this time.
They are also working on a Bay, thats running a supercharged V6 on a T3 modified box and airbags. He's talking about them both being ready inside 12 months.
Vanwinkle is more of an experiment ... a prototype for the real ones.

handlin good hertz really sweeet with the notched plates (i did em on the tuesday night b4 the show) i just have to "modify" the front bump stops now cause they are annoyin the crap outta me 😉

im drivin the panama beige beetle with chocolate brown side now (still got the kombi tho) its was nixt to squiz's blue beetle with teh fink number plates.....i thought that was you in the ute but i didnt wanna make an ass outta my self and ask hahhaa :o
