just wondering if anyone knew what colour/colours the rims on my 64 would have been painted? also if dress rings were available then?

yeah sure.
ive seen a few 60s beetles around with original wheel trims
main styles were the criss cross and the slotted kind
im not 100% sure but i think pre 67 bugs had white centers with the outer rim painted the colour of the car
all the original ones ive seen were like that but most bug rims have been repainted many times by now
68/early 69 beetles had black centers and white outer rims and 69 on were silver
