Found this on the Samba site. Pics taken from a 75 KG TC Hand Book . Written in Portuguese.

Looks a bit like a Type 3 Ghia. But has what looks like a Type 1 Ghia dash. Type 3 engine. And is a hatch back. Kool?? Anyone seen one for real? Any body got one??

It would look better if it had a more Ghia-esque front..

They were made in Bazil 1970-76 along with their weird version of the type 3.Here's an article:

They also did a front wheel drive air cooled car but went water cooled with it after a few years,

More info:

Here's a pic of the engine, which was designed from the ground up to run on alcohol (sugar cane).

i lived in brasil for 5 years and my mate had one of those air cooled front wheel drive and was a heap of crap slow and you could smell the oil being in the front what a beast. they were the first of the VW GOLS then they went to a 1.6 water cooled to a 1.8 & 2.0.they ran on petrol and alcahol.
I used to have GOL GTS 1.8 on alcohol and with factory recaro seats front and back iv got pictures of it but its in a photo album no scanner 🥲 aaahh the good ol days
