After being away from the VW scene and this site for quite a while now for various reasons, nearly a year I spose...

I just went and started to tidy my garage, and rediscovered why I love my VW's.

There she was, Doodle, my 69 Square, sitting with an inch of dust on her, ready for more attention...I found myself saying....
"How F***king cool is that!" 🙂

So, having saved hard for a few months, Im hoping to get back into action and start updating my thread again...

And hopfully in the near future get started on tge 56 Oval and 57 Big Window bugs I have too. God, I need more garage space! 🙂

Shes not been touch of yet. Waiting to put her in the mother-in-laws drive so I can get the square out of the garage and work on her. Not to mention rearange the garage so I can finally start on the Oval!

But I intend to get her running, too good a car to leave standing. She needs some patching up, new seatbelt points and some small cosmetic welding done front and rear, but apart from that she is very solid, floor pan is flawless.... 🙂

got her registered the other day
then she hydralocked on me
and blew the main seal:cussing:cry

Thats a bugger mate. Grrr...

Im going to try and get the 57 running tomorrow. Hopefully she will fire up!
