I've just recieved an email from someone who owns a Kombi in Victora and who wants to have it shipped to WA. It is a non-running car with the engine and lots of spare parts in the back. He told me that the freight companies don't want to carry a car that can't be driven and they also want it to be empty.

Can anyone suggest a freight company which will be willing to carry the car, as it is, from Vic to WA?

I'm having the same trouble with shipping a car from WA to QLD. They can try Auto Trans? But the price they gave me was about $1200 for a moving car (only a hatchback), and there are rules like the tank must only have a quarter of a tank, this that and the other.

So im not sure how much luck they may have Richard with a non-moving vehicle weighed down with parts?

I used Finemores from Mt Isa to Brisbane. Dont remember the cost but it was so long ago it would be irrelevant anyway.
Car wasnt running, was full of camping and swapmeet gear including a jerry can of fuel. Had no problems.
